Opt'Alm

OPT'ALM is a technological company created in March 2015 in Toulouse (France) with expertise in industrialization, working in the field of metal additive manufacturing. The ROSSI Aero group has become shareholder of the company since July 2017.

OPT'ALM is specialized in Pats' manufacturing by addition of shapes and functions & repair of mechanical structures with DED/LMD additive manufacturing process. They produce and deliver structures fully finished (machined, controlled) according to customers' quality standards.

OPT'ALM will be involved in 2 Work Packages:

- WP3: "3D printing of ceramic shoulder prosthesis, multi-material 3D-printing (ceramics ans metallic for medical applications"

    --> Manufacturing of samples by DED process to study the Metal / Ceramic junctions on Titanium alloy TA6v substrates (usually thick plate) or parts

- WP5: "Modelling & characterization of optical properties and dispersing for studied materials"

    --> Support to understand the DED 3D printing process and drivers' parameters to ceramic deposition on substrates.
