May 2015: first proposal to develop a full European project on ceramics 3D printing and additive manufacturing (“1st call for proposal 2015, French Embassy’s Science and Technology Department in UK: Funding for Seed meeting”)

28-29 October 2015: first meeting in London with the academic partners thanks to the support of the French Embassy’s in UK, Science and Technology Department
November 2015: first draft of DOC-3D-PRINTING proposal for the H2020-MSCA-ITN-2016: ETN call. Thanks to Europ’Box* (Maxime Guibert) from University of Toulouse for their help in writing the proposal!
12 January 2016: submission of the proposal to the European Commission
Toulouse INP, UoB, UVHC, Gazi University, INFLPR, CRIBC, CERHUM, Ermaksan, Marion Technologies, Lithoz, Opt’Alm, Mersen-Boostec were already part of the consortium.
May 2016: Response from the European Commission identifying points to be enhanced for a better proposal.
November 2016: New draft of the proposal for the H2020-MSCA-ITN-2017: ETN call with support from Europ’Box* again (thanks to Aude Garsès!).
10 January 2017: submission of the new proposal to the European Commission
The consortium consists of 6 academic, 1 non-profit association and 7 industry (Large companies and SME) participants focused on Ceramics 3D Printing or Ceramics Additive manufacturing applied on medical and aerospace fields. Eurocoating and ECQA have joined the consortium replacing two members of the previous consortium.
23 August 2017: the proposal is successful and is invited to prepare the next steps before receiving funding
1st May 2018: Start date of DOC-3D-PRINTING
