European Certification and Qualification Association

The European Certification and Qualification Association (ECQA) is a non-profit association, joining institutions and several thousands of professionals from all over Europe and abroad. The ECQA provides a world-wide unified certification scheme for numerous professions. The association joins experts from the market and supports the definition and development of the knowledge (skill cards) required for job roles. They define and verify quality criteria for training organisations and trainers to assure the same level of trainings all over the world. The ECQA centrally promotes all certified job roles.

The ECQA has so far certified more than 10,000 managers/experts in Europe and the world, they have had more than 16,000 candidates attending online skills browsing and online exam and training services, they unite about 60 accredited VETs as training bodies in 18 EU countries. Currently the ECQA provides exams and certificates for more than 30 professions.
